Experience
Science carried through to practical application
David earned his PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and later worked at McGill University. Since 2018, he has been an affiliated member of McGill University’s Gerald Bronfman Department of Oncology.
He has contributed to the development and clinical validation of DNA-methylation tests for the early detection of liver and cervical cancers and led a clinical study of a test for hepatocellular carcinoma.
His work has been published in Nature Communications, Scientific Reports, Aging, the International Journal of Cancer, Clinical Cancer Research and other peer-reviewed journals.
