Editorial principles
Nauka Prosto explains research clearly and accurately, without artificially strengthening its conclusions.

Primary sources come first
Before publication, we review the original scientific paper and, where possible, its supplementary materials. Press releases and media reports may lead us to a story, but they do not replace the primary source.
Evidence is separated from interpretation
We distinguish study results, the authors’ interpretation, and broader conclusions. An association is not described as proven causation, and a preliminary finding is not presented as established fact.
Numbers need context
Articles describe study design, sample, comparison groups, follow-up, and key absolute numbers when these details are available and important for understanding the result.
Limitations stay visible
We report material limitations and explain what a study does show, as well as which conclusions cannot yet be drawn.
Health information requires care
Health articles are informational and do not replace medical advice. We avoid individual recommendations, self-diagnosis, and claims of effectiveness that the evidence does not support.
Corrections are handled openly
When a reader reports a possible error, the editorial team checks it and corrects the article when needed. Readers can contact us through the feedback form.
Illustrations and technology are disclosed
Scientific illustrations clarify ideas but are not presented as experimental data. AI assistance in an image or translation is disclosed alongside the relevant material.
Authorship and responsibility are transparent
Each article identifies its author, with qualifications available on a separate profile page. Commercial interests must not shape story selection or scientific conclusions.
